"***Bladedancers" by Jenny Dolfen

This is a excellent pic, very dynamic. And the poses are very dramatic. For some reason it reminds me of the Seafolk in Jordan´s "Wheel of Time".

If i was training with her, there's two possible outcomes of my training.

1, i would never have learned a thing cuase i've been distracted by the beuaty in front of me.

2, i would have been a superb fighter cuase i would have been able to fight while dreaming about tits.

The way I see it this piece of art was far ahead of its' time for 2003. Everyone seems to think they are fighting but that is not the way I see it given my background. I am not sure what a bladedancer class was used for in classic D&D but to an online gamer the bladedancer is not a melee fighter class. In most online games the bladedancer is primarily a support buffer class used to power up the group and particularly the tank. You probably have no idea what I am talking about unless you are an online gamer who goes to raids. In laymens terms a buffer is charactor who transfers their power to another charactor.

How this relates to the artwork is that they are buffing each other which is a beautiful artistic concept. She is transferring power to him and he is transferring power to her so he has her powers and she has his. It is almost sexual. In no way are they trying to harm each other. Armor protection and extra clothing are not needed. The partial nudity would not distract but only serve as enticement to open up to give and receive freely each others' buffs. Jhael's grace and speed would be greatly increased from the buffs of the master bladedancer. I just don't see Eilistrae's prestige class as being a dancer of death but rather a dancer of life.

I also like the style of this piece. It is full of interesting contrasts such as the topless drow against an icy background. The anatomy work is superb from their feet to Jhael's back to the female's breasts. Just one question here. Where did Jhael get that nasty scare in his back? Is it somehow linked to his adventures in the "Drow's Tale?"

Love the movement in this, sorta reminds me of fights in Hero and House of Flying Daggers. And nice blueness

Amazing artwork, and the fact that she feels equal to Jhael is awesome. More people need to learn from you.
One thing though. I know that drow are generally small in stature, but arent those swords just a little thick? I mean if they’re longswords, then wouldnt they be slightly longer and slightly skinnier?
